I started this blog because I was thinking how really bad poetry is hard for poets to write. It is like singing off key, when you have perfect pitch. I figured I should give this genre a shot!
This is not to be confused with bad poetry, meaning poetry that is trite, or written by those whom are not really poets. This site is for real poets and hopefully, it will give us all a way to become better writers, while indulging in what not to do.
Here is my first attempt:
Apples
Apples on the tree crisp and warm
must be summer.
You were there for me
and we made applesause.
Now, you're gone.
And the apples?
They have fallen to the ground
where the worms eat them.
I would love some feedback on this bad poem!
